Description & Requirements

We’re looking for a Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for testing and certifying electronic products, identifying faults, and supporting continuous improvement. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, technical understanding, and teamwork are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out functional tests on products in accordance with test instructions, using specified test equipment.
  • Perform setting-up procedures for testing and understand the need for periodic recalibration of test equipment.
  • Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on products.
  • Analyse results to meet the requirements of the quality management system.
  • Operate flying probe, ATE and JTAG. 
  • Write or update procedures and contribute to process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records including debug logs, test databases, batch reports, and customer-specific paperwork.
  • Adhere to all manufacturing and testing procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Meet production test time targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Keep your work area clean and organised, following 5S standards.

Person Specification

  • Experience in electronics testing technician role
  • HNC in Electronics or Similar (Preferred) 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. 
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. 
  • Good communication skills and basic English (spoken and written).
  • Comfortable using computers for data entry and reporting.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes.
