Description & Requirements

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Test Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting product tests following established procedures and quality standards. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet performance expectations and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tests on products in accordance with test instructions, using specified test equipment.
  • Perform setting-up procedures for testing and understand the need for periodic recalibration of test equipment.
  • Complete the AWO, troubleshoot, debug log sheet, and Test Entry database to meet the requirements of the quality management system.
  • Perform basic fault-finding and troubleshooting on products.
  • Adhere to all manufacturing and testing procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Meet production test time targets while maintaining high standards of quality.

 

Person Specification (Required):

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills through hands-on experience and training.
  • Genuine interest in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stay focused and organised.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or defects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality databases).

 

Person Specification (Preferred):

  • Previous experience in EMS Sector, or manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test systems).
  • Experience with calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
